What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Parks Maintenance Worker position at Yellow Medicine County?
Yellow Medicine County is hiring a seasonal Parks Maintenance position (40 hours/week, Monday-Thursday, located in the Granite Falls shop) to assist the Parks Director in maintaining the County parks and other County property. This position would assist in mowing with a commercial lawn mower, trimming, maintenance of equipment, operating power tools, custodial work and other duties as assigned. Minimum requirements: Any combination of education/experience equivalent to graduation from high school. Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid Minnesota driver’s license. Starting pay is $18.20/hr. Length of employment is approximately May through August. Position is open until filled. The first review of applications will be on April 17, 2025.
