The purpose of the Assistant Property Manager is to assist primary Property Managers in administering best-in-class care to Members’ residences. The duty of the Assistant Property Manager is to aid primary Property Managers in maintaining properties and implementing Yellowstone Club policies, procedures and systems that ensure a well-managed, well-maintained residence through established management, operations, fiscal policies, and outstanding hospitality. Assistant Property Managers must effectively communicate with teammates, members, and contractors.


Major Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that each Member and guest receives outstanding guest service in a guest friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every Member and guest, maintaining outstanding service standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest service.
  • Empowered to guarantee total guest satisfaction, display hospitality and professionalism to our guests at all times, take pride in representing Yellowstone Club professionally with our Members and guests and assure that all transactions with guests are handled in a legal and ethical manner.
  • Understand and apply all property safety and security procedures to maintain a secure and safe environment for employees, Members, and guests at all times. In the event of an accident or emergency, seek medical attention if necessary and contact your direct manager, the Director of Property Management, or Human Resources immediately.
  • Maintain a favorable working relationship with all company employees to foster and promote a positive working environment.

  • Completion of assigned preventative maintenance and manual labor-oriented tasks as assigned by senior staff.
  • Effectively take direction from primary Property Managers and Operations Managers.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with clients.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with employees and clients via email and phone.
  • Cultivate and maintain quality relationships with teammates, owners, vendors, and contractors to ensure positive current and future business relations.
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established Yellowstone Club policies, procedures, and standards of service to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
  • Perform routine inspections of residences to ensure that the homes are in a constant state of readiness.
  • Assist in maintaining Member/owner/guest preferences.
  • Ability to respond to Member issues and complaints and coordinate response in a timely and professional fashion.


Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to and monitor preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Maintain proper control of materials, tools, and supplies.
  • Complete minor maintenance repairs when appropriate.
  • Quickly gain the experience & knowledge to detect & remedy warning signs of larger issues within residences.
  • Meet departmental productivity, organization, punctuality/attendance, and consistency standards.
  • Maintain a positive and respectful attitude.
  • Treat Members, guests, vendors, customers and co-workers with professionalism and respect at all times.
  • Maintain privacy and discretion of our Members and guests at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and neat appearance at all times.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with all employees, supervisors, managers, and directors.
  • Perform work in a safe and high quality manner.
  • Project a favorable image of Yellowstone Club at all times.
  • Consistently attend and contribute to regular staff meetings.
  • Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours and/or overtime may be required due to business demands.
  • Maintain quality in homes as outlined by home manuals to ensure operation of all systems within residences.

Experience/Education Required

  • 6 months of property management, hospitality, and/or customer service experience
  • High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work required.
  • Proven experience using communication and organizational skills to accomplish goals effectively.


Experience/Education Preferred

  • 2 years of property management or relative hospitality experience.
  • Undergraduate degree in Hospitality Management or a related field from an accredited University.


Certificates & Licenses

  • Valid US Driver’s License


Computer Skills

  • Proficiency working with basic technology, including smartphones, computers, and email.
  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite Products.


Language Ability

  • Able to speak clearly and effectively with Members, guests, co-workers, vendors and other Yellowstone Club departments. Able to write clearly and legibly.


Math Ability

  • Able to perform basic math calculations.


Reasoning Ability

  • Ability to solve intermediate problems and/or know when it is necessary to get a manager to assist in problem solving.

The employee is constantly required to maintain safety standards and compliance with Yellowstone Club policies and Montana state laws when operating vehicles.
