The Yellowstone Club Community Foundation is seeking candidates for Events and Communications Coordinator. The YCCF fosters philanthropy, volunteerism, and capacity for local organizations addressing the greatest needs in the areas of livability, health & wellness, environment, arts & culture, and education. By providing philanthropic leadership in the greater Big Sky region, the Foundation awards grants and sponsorships to nonprofit organizations, offers student scholarships, and coordinates collaborative efforts to respond to the region's complex needs.
The Events and Communications Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the Foundation’s mission by assisting in the planning and execution of events, managing communications, and providing executive support to the Vice President of Philanthropy. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, organized, and creative professional with strong communication skills and a passion for philanthropy.

This is a FTYR hourly position. The hourly rate of pay range for this position is between $23.00-$25.00 based on experience. The position is eligible for FTYR benefits and seasonal bonuses.

- Assist in planning and executing all Foundation events, including donor appreciation gatherings, fundraising events, and community engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, catering, guest lists, invitations, and materials.
- Track RSVPs and manage event communications with attendees.
- Work closely with vendors, volunteers, and internal teams to ensure seamless event execution.
- Provide on-site support at events, including setup, registration, and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate the development and distribute Foundation donor communications, including newsletters, donor updates, and event invitations.
- Manage the Foundation’s social media platforms, creating engaging content and ensuring consistent messaging.
- Draft and send emails on behalf of Development team to donors, members, and partners.
- Maintain and update the Foundation’s website with current events and communications.
- Ensure all external communications align with the Foundation’s branding and messaging strategy.
- Prepare meeting and presentation materials, as needed.
- Manage the Vice President of Philanthropy’s calendar, scheduling meetings and appointments.
- Track RSVPs and send meeting invites for donor engagements and internal meetings.
- Respond to routine emails on behalf of the Vice President, ensuring timely and professional communication.
- Prepare meeting materials, take notes, and follow up on action items as needed.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to donor stewardship and fundraising initiatives.
- Prepare donor and gift acknowledgment documents, including thank you notes and gifts in a timely manner.
- Support the annual development plan in partnership with VP of Philanthropy and Associate Director of Donor Relations.
- Provide excellent communication and customer service to all donors and volunteers.
- Support Annual Fund activities including but not limited to the appeal campaign, new member and Black Diamond events, annual golf tournament, etc.
- Coordinate production, inventory, and delivery of gifts.

- Ensure that each member and guest receives outstanding guest service in a guest-friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every member and guest, maintaining outstanding service standards, solid product knowledge, and all other components of guest service.
- Empowered to guarantee total guest satisfaction, display hospitality and professionalism to our guests at all times, take pride in representing Yellowstone Club professionally with our members and guests, and assure that all transactions with guests are handled legally and ethically.
- Understand and apply all property safety and security procedures to maintain a secure and safe environment for employees, members, and guests at all times. In the event of an accident or emergency, seek medical attention if necessary and contact the General Manager or Human Resources immediately.
