POSITION: ENHANCEMENT MANAGER
DUTIES: Responsible for arranging, scheduling and directing irrigation and
landscape installation work in accordance with the contractual
requirements for each project. Create and periodically realign
enhancement crews in accordance with the needs of different and
concurrent projects. Balance workload and staging materials for different
projects in coordination with the contractor’s site supervisor, and vendors.
Request purchase orders for delivery of materials to job sites or for pickup.
Make written notes of any requests for changes to the scope of work
and/or any site issues that may arise. Prepare corresponding work orders
or field reports as required. Exercise control of materials, labor, equipment
and small tools assigned to crews on each job site. Maintain and manage
proper documentation, including crew timesheets and material delivery
receipts. Record work progress documentation necessary for preparation
of Monthly and Casual Sale billings. Assure that all crew vehicles are kept
clean and that all landscape equipment is operated properly and
preventative maintenance is performed. Supervise all field personnel and
conduct performance reviews for subordinates. Coordinate with Account
Managers to ensure consistent communication with assigned clientele.
Prepare written reports for clients (Project work/phase schedules,
Irrigation system and landscape inspection reports, Job close-out punch
lists). Manage enhancement budgets following the established budget
parameters. Conduct regular site inspections with the site superintendent
and/or landscape architect. Conduct, personally or through others, field
safety and operations training of crew leaders and service workers to
assure high quality, safe, and professional performance. Coordinate
additional sales directly, utilizing established procedures and pricing.
REQUIREMENTS: Five years of project management experience in landscape operations as
superintendent, project manager or closely related position. Ability to read
and understand construction drawings.
