POSITION SUMMARY

As a key member of the Yellowstone Post Frame team, the Project Manager is instrumental in steering complex construction projects from conception through completion. This pivotal role not only focuses on meticulously managing timelines and budgets but also emphasizes strategic planning and efficient resource allocation to ensure project excellence. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of coordination between clients, site teams, and upper management, ensuring seamless communication and adherence to organizational standards. By fostering a collaborative environment, they drive team performance towards achieving project deliverables while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. The role demands a proactive leadership style, with a strong capability to anticipate project needs and dynamically adapt strategies to uphold Yellowstone Post Frame's reputation for delivering customized pole barn constructions within the expansive landscapes of Wyoming and Montana.

OBJECTIVES

• Ensure that all construction projects are completed on or before the deadline, without compromising on quality.
• Manage projects within the allocated budget, minimizing costs without affecting the quality or scope of work.
• Uphold the highest quality standards in every project by implementing rigorous quality control and assurance protocols.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a skilled team, ensuring high performance and continuous professional growth.
• Achieve high client satisfaction through excellent service, timely delivery, and constant communication.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a zero-incident workplace throughout the project lifecycle.
• Optimize the use of materials, labor, and equipment to maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, including clients, team members, and suppliers.
• Continuously seek innovative solutions and improvements in construction processes and techniques.
• Implement environmentally sustainable practices in construction activities to minimize impact on the surroundings.
• Develop and execute detailed project plans that align with the company’s strategic objectives.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation and reporting of all project activities for internal and external stakeholders.

COMPETENCIES

• Proficiency in managing all phases of construction projects, from planning to completion.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Preferred Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly preferred. Additional certifications related to construction or project management (e.g., Certified Construction Manager (CCM)) are advantageous.

Preferred Experience:

• Practical experience in construction project management, especially with post-frame buildings, is highly valued.
• Experience with construction software and project management tools is preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to navigate construction sites, including walking on uneven surfaces and climbing stairs or ladders.
• Capability to lift and carry materials or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Endurance to perform physical activities for extended periods, possibly under adverse weather conditions.
• Proficiency in using tools and equipment required for construction tasks.
• Good vision, either natural or corrected, is necessary for safety and accuracy in reading plans and specifications.
• Adequate hearing required to safely perceive environmental cues and communications on noisy construction sites.
• Physical coordination to perform multiple tasks simultaneously under various conditions.

• Ability to lead, inspire, and direct teams towards achieving project goals.
• Skilled in budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost management.
• Rigorous in enforcing high standards of construction quality and compliance with specifications.
• Excellence in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
• Knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and regulations relevant to pole barn and barndominium construction.
• Capability to identify, analyze, and effectively solve issues as they arise.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear and effective stakeholder interactions.
• Skilled in identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Ability to adjust plans and strategies in response to changing conditions or unexpected challenges.
• Proficiency in managing time effectively, prioritizing tasks to meet project deadlines.
• Commitment to incorporating sustainable practices into construction processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
