Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled and self-motivated Field Service Engineer with expertise in automation for fillers and blowers. The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring efficient equipment performance, and driving overall customer satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site field service, troubleshooting, and technical support for automated fillers and blowers in the food & beverage packaging industry.
- Perform installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of automation equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
- Utilize PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen Bradley required; Siemens & B&R a plus).
- Maintain detailed service reports and adhere to company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide customer training when needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent service and communication.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of field service experience in the food & beverage packaging industry.
- Expertise in automation systems related to fillers & injection mold blowers.
- Strong knowledge of PLC systems, specifically Allen Bradley (Siemens & B&R experience is a plus).
- Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and service technical automation equipment.
- Willingness to travel up to 90% (assignments may last 3-4 weeks at a time, with some projects extending to 6-7 weeks).
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred but not required).
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment and adapt to diverse work schedules.
