COMPENSATION : $54,000 - $67,143

THE ROLE
When you join the YES Prep team, some of the exciting work and responsibilities will include :
Developing Intervention Support Plans for students on a caseload with behavioral concerns in order to build their behavioral skill capacity and preserve student access to instruction;Delivering evidence-based skill-building and behavior curricula to students referred for behavior concerns while maintaining high levels of behavioral and academic expectations for those students;Providing direct behavior support to students on caseload, using a variety of methods, skills, and tools to provide this support;Providing in-classroom behavior support to students on caseload;Collaboration with campus stakeholders to regularly collect and analyze student behavioral data through Functional Behavior Assessments, classroom observation, data systems review, and teacher and staff feedback;Facilitating multi-disciplinary student case reviews to ensure fidelity in the implementation of Intervention Support Plans;Participating in the Case Management System campus process;Conducting ongoing campus professional development on the topics of best practices in behavior support, interventions, and classroom behavior management;Additional duties as assigned.THE PERSON

THE MUST HAVES
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year educational institutionAt least one year of teaching experience with an outstanding record of instruction and student achievement or relevant experience working in a school settingExperience working with students who experience significant behavioral challengesExperience developing and implementing behavior support plans for students with behavioral concernsKnowledge of current best practice methods and techniques for working with students with significant behavioral challengesWillingness to develop competency in the utilization of YES Prep technology and programs, including PURPLE, Tableau, ESP, Hero, etc.Belief in and commitment to the mission and core value of YES Prep Public SchoolsOpenness to giving and receiving frequent feedbackAbility to juggle multiple tasks and initiatives at onceAbility to be flexible and adjust according to campus needsAbility to maintain emotional control under stressStrict adherence to organization confidentiality and compliance expectationsDemonstrated ability to work on a teamTHE NICE TO HAVES
