- Conduct psychiatric assessments and develop treatment plans for patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care and support to patients.
- Participate in treatment programming and planning for the Mental Health Unit.
- Approve all admissions and discharges into the Mental Health Unit.
- Monitor the implementation and efficiency of treatment plans.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in psychiatry, including experience in corrections or a related field. You must also be licensed to practice medicine in the applicable state and certified by the Office of Mental Health to provide psychiatric services in a licensed inpatient unit.
