Yeshiva Ohr Yisrael is an all-boys private high school offering a classical Jewish education together with a fully-accredited college-preparatory general studies program. Our school schedule accommodates a dual curriculum with Jewish Studies in the morning and the General Studies classes taught in the afternoon. We are looking for qualified Science, ELA, and History teachers for our afternoon program, Monday-Thursday .
If you are someone who can engage and inspire students and has excellent classroom management skills, this may be the position for you!
Key Responsibilities :
- Lesson planning
- Maintain timely and accurate records using our LMS
- Participate in curriculum night and parent-teacher conferences (2-3 nights per year)
- Attend faculty meetings and professional development workshops (scheduled in advance)
- Use of Google Classroom technology
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents
Qualifications Required :
