**Job Description:**
As a Process Engineer at Yield Engineering Systems, you will apply principles of engineering, thermal or fluid sciences, mathematics, or statistics to optimize processes as per customer requirements.
You will write test protocols, perform tests to fully characterize new equipment or processes, and write completion reports.
You will collaborate internally to plan, collect data, analyze results, and report on customer demos for existing process applications.
You will compile and analyze test data to establish the next steps in process development and determine appropriate limits and variables for process specifications.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
We are looking for individuals with a Master's degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Preferred candidates have ~3 to 10 years of relevant process engineering experience in the semiconductor or semiconductor equipment industry.
Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or other similar scientific computing language is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new skills, technologies, and develop solutions based on project needs are essential.
Familiarity with working in a laboratory and on semiconductor equipment with experience in surface preparation, analytical techniques, and material characterization is required.
