Client Interaction and Loan Process:
- Collect loan documents including income, employment verification, bank statements, property documentation, credit reports, etc.
- Analyze financial data calculating debt to income ratios and other financial metrics to evaluate loan suitability.
- Ensure the application is complete and accurate before submitting it to the underwriter for review.
- Contact borrowers to request missing information, update them on loan status, and answer questions.
- Clear conditions and collect documents needed from underwriting.
- Track loan status throughout the process and address any issues that arise.
- Communicate proactively with internal teams, clients, and external partners, to provide updates on request status and progress.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Attention to detail with the ability to carefully review documents for accuracy and identify potential errors.
- Strong organizational skills to efficiently manage large volumes of documents and files within the pipeline.
- Financial analysis skills being able to understand financial statements, credit reports, and debt-to-income ratios.
- Effectively communicate with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, etc.
- Proficiency in computer software and technology savvy.
- Able to keep up with a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to communicate primarily by phone, email and text.
