What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teen & Family Program Lead position at YMCA of Central Stark County?
In search of:
- Teen and Family Program Lead
Wage:
- $11.00-$14.00 - Commensurate with experience
Hours:
- 18-20 hours/week
- Nights and Weekend availability required
- *Schedule may vary and require weekend hours.
General Functions:
- Supervising, planning, and organizing Teen & Family programs of all ages.
- Assist in planning programs incorporating physical activities, mentoring, character values components.
- Providing community service opportunities for youth.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma required.
- Interest and experience working with youth and teens.
- Ability to communicate effectively with various ages.
- Possess a general knowledge of appropriate age activities.
- General clerical, organizational and computer skills.
Responsibilities:
- Coordination of Teen & Family focused programs (Ex: Teen Night Outs, & Parents Day out.
- Coordinate scheduling and execution of rentals
- Recruit new program participants.
- Work with directors to develop and implement robust afterschool programs for teens.
- Ability to secure CPR, first aid certification
- Support collaborations and recruitment of community partners
Collaborations:
- Co-lead Teen Leaders program.
- Integrate YMCA core values and character development.
- Other duties as mutually agreed to with immediate supervisor for the overall good of the YMCA.
Salary : $11 - $14
