Infant Lead Teacher

Summary

Stuckey Family Interfaith Child Development Center is currently looking for a full-time Lead Teacher for Infants. Experience with Creative Curriculum, Step Up to Quality (SUTQ), and helping children build resiliency skills is preferred. We offer low adult to child ratios with 2 full-time teachers in most classrooms. The shift available is 7:30-4:00. The salary range is based on education level.

Duties

This position involves developing lesson plans for the group based on the students’ current skill levels and interests. Other responsibilities include interacting with children and families in a friendly and responsive manner, having daily conversations with families, completing assessments, serving meals, cleaning and disinfecting, and following all licensing and SUTQ requirements.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Lead qualifications are a minimum of CDA ($15.68/hr) or an Associate's Degree in an unrelated field with a commitment to earning a CDA within a year from date of hire.
• Prefer Associate's ($16.76/hr) or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education ($17.84/hr) or a related field
• Committed to developmentally appropriate practices

Nice To Haves

• Willing to consider someone who is listed as a CPL 3 in OCCRRA who has not yet earned a CDA.
• Experience working with children ages 2 months-18 months of age.
