Position Summary:
Oversee 1 Afterschool Site and 1 Camp site. Develops and implements developmentally appropriate activities for Team-Up program; supervises staff; interacts effectively with staff, parents, and supervisors; and adheres to written budgets to foster individual growth and development of children in YMCA care.
Essential Functions:
- Completes and maintains necessary records on student and program data.
- Files monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports regarding program to Kids Hope Alliance.
- Maintains program’s budget, tracks, and reports all spending.
- Provides leadership to a team of staff including enrichment staff, academic teachers, and the Lead Teacher.
- Plan daily, weekly, and monthly activities for students, and hold parent and/or special events.
- Collaborates with Principal and Lead Teachers to ensure students receive appropriate academic assistance.
- Maintains consistent communication with parents of students.
- Maintains positive relationships with school Principal and staff.
- Presents the YMCA mission and vision to staff, students, school community and parents.
- Verifies that the grant milestones for Youth Development grant-funded programs such as TEAM UP After School Programs and the Child Care Food Program are delivered in a timely manner.

Qualifications:
- High School diploma required.
- Two or more years’ experience in a supervisory position.
- Typical requirements within 30 days of hire include completion of: CPR, First Aid, AED.
- Fulfillment of state-specific hiring standards and completion of YMCA program specific certifications.
- Willingness and ability to effectively communicate with youth.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work in a diverse environment.
- Flexibility, resourcefulness, and high energy.
- Time management skills necessary to meet deadlines.
- Ability to understand and implement fiscal requirements.
- Ability to understand, interpret and implement licensure requirements, policies, and procedures.
