Program Director-Teens
Salary : 40,000-43,641
SUMMARY : Responsible to promote and administer the general teen programming of Community Services Y. Responsible to drive, enhance and grow the strategy for youth development through various programs that incorporate ARB.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
1. Plan, promote and administer general teen programming of Community Services YMCA, including but not limited to : Achievers, college readiness initiatives, academic enrichment, career exploration, Youth & Government, Leaders Club, Music Resource Center and other initiatives.
2. Ensure program quality and delivery. Develop and implement curriculum, seek enrichment opportunities, and leverage community networks and partnerships to strengthen the program model.
3. Research and identify new trends for teen programming. Incorporate creative thinking and discussion gathering input from key stakeholders. Pilot new programs and assess effectiveness for maximum impact.
4. Recruit and increase program participation through personal presentations and regular communications with area junior and senior high schools, church groups, etc.
5. Recruit, train and support adult volunteers to conduct programs and events, i.e., serve as program cluster leaders / presenters.
6. Promote, advocate, and champion programs, policies, and practices that seek to produce equitable outcomes for all young people.
7. Conduct regular program outcome evaluations, and complete all statistical reports.
8. Assist in Annual Support Campaign efforts with volunteers in efforts to support program needs. Seek out Grant opportunities and alternative funding models to support program needs.
9. Assist Executive Director with management of annual program departmental budget.

QUALIFICATIONS :
1. Bachelor's degree in related field.
2. Previous experience in college readiness initiatives, academic enrichment and career exploration required.
3. Proven experience recruiting, training and managing volunteers.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as, ability to facilitate presentations.
5. Proven ability to build genuine, reciprocal relationships with various community stakeholders.
