Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily operations of the before/after school program.
- Foster a culturally-relevant and developmentally-appropriate program curriculum.
- Provide vigilant supervision at all times.
- Engage in various program activities with children.
- Maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
- Adhere to YMCA policies and procedures, including licensing requirements, medical and disciplinary situations, child abuse prevention, and emergencies.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum 18 years old with high school diploma or equivalent.
- Meets all licensing requirements as determined by state and local governments.
- Previous experience working with children preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certifications must be obtained/maintained throughout employment.
