Under the supervision and support of the Operations Director, a Camp Fuller Food Service and Maintenance Staff member will support the daily operations of camp that do not involve direct camper supervision. Keeping the safety and health/wellbeing of campers and staff are the top priorities of such a position.

FOOD SERVICE ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the supervision and support of the Operations Director, a Camp Fuller Food Service and Maintenance Staff member will support the daily operations of camp that do not involve direct camper supervision. Keeping the safety and health/wellbeing of campers and staff are the top priorities of such a position.
Requirements
FOOD SERVICE ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support in the service of three meals a day to the entire Camp Fuller community.
- Ensure the kitchen is kept to a high quality of standard that meets Department of Health requirements on cleanliness, food storage, service, and dish washing requirements
- Follow all Department of Health Standards in food preparation including but not limited to cook temperatures, cross contamination, personal protective equipment, and food disease prevention
- Evaluate and prepare for all dietary restrictions and need of the Camp staff and campers
- Work as a member of the Greater Camp Fuller Staff in creating a great camp experience for campers
- Participate in pre-camp training (1-2 weeks depending on arrival) to gain the knowledge and camaraderie of being on the Camp Fuller Staff
- Uphold all policies and procedures of YMCA Camp Fuller including but not limited to Risk Management, Supervision, Child Protection, and Safety Standards.
- Complete daily routines of cleaning and evaluating the common spaces of camp to keep them to an acceptable level of clean
- Engage with other staff to address damaged or broken equipment and repair as appropriate or able
- Ensure that paper product, cleaning supplies, and equipment is available and stocked for the camp community so they may support in the cleanliness of camp
- Work as a member of the Greater Camp Fuller Staff in creating a great camp experience for campers
- Participate in pre-camp training (1-2 weeks depending on arrival) to gain the knowledge and camaraderie of being on the Camp Fuller Staff
