What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Director- IGNITE Program - Richmond Area position at YMCA of Greater Richmond?
The YMCA of Greater Richmond is looking for a positive role model to supervise and engage with middle schoolers and assist in site oversight at our IGNITE Programs within the Richmond area at Albert Hill, Boushall, and Henderson Middle School.
DUTIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to supervision of a group of Middle school aged children, along with day-to-day operations of this school-based program (management of PT staff, lesson planning, and parent engagement).
QUALIFICATIONS
- Qualifications
- Applicants should have a minimum of six months of childcare experience, preferably middle school aged
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum age is 18.
- The following certifications are highly desirable:
- Bilingual applicants
- CPR/AED and First Aid Certification appropriate to age group
