What are the responsibilities and job description for the Counselor - IGNITE Program position at YMCA of Greater Richmond?
The YMCA of Greater Richmond is looking for a positive role model to supervise and engage with Middle Schoolers in our IGNITE Program in the Richmond area at Albert Hill , Boushall, and Henderson Middle School.
DUTIES
We are looking for individuals who work well with young people, are able to multitask, and communicate effectively with children and other stakeholders. As well as support the program providers with the implementation of classes such as Sports, STEM, Arts and Humanities and Leadership / Work Readiness. Program Mon-Thurs 3-630p with Fridays as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants should have a minimum of six months of childcare experience, preferably middle school aged
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum age is 18.
The following certifications are highly desirable :
Biligual
CPR / AED and First Aid Certification to age group.
