The Tuckahoe Family YMCA is currently seeking energetic and responsible individuals to work as Camp Counselors for our summer day camp programs. This part time position starts at $14.00 per hour. As a YMCA Employee you also get a Free Gym Membership.

Successful candidates must be 16 years old and can have less than six months experience in childcare.

DUTIES of a Camp Counselor
- Interpret, communicate, and promote Y mission, goals, and objectives to department employees, volunteer leaders, members, and the community.
- Responsible for the well-being of campers while providing a safe, engaging environment for them through games, conversations, activities led by specialists, and more.
- All staff will receive pre-camp training to ensure they have the knowledge and expertise to work with their campers.
- Will lead and facilitate games and activities for a group of campers.
