What are the responsibilities and job description for the Counselor - School Age Child Care (Manchester YMCA) position at YMCA of Greater Richmond?
The YMCA of Greater Richmond is currently seeking enthusiastic Counselors for our Before and/or After School Child Care programs at the Manchester Family YMCA. Starting salary is $16.00 per hour.
Duties:
Responsibilities include supervising and engaging with a group of school age children, and participating in group programs. Program hours are weekdays from 2-6pm.
Qualifications:
- Applicants should have a minimum of six months of child care experience, preferably in a licensed facility
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum age is 18
The following certifications are highly desirable:
- CPR/AED Certification appropriate to age group
- First Aid Certification
