We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Child Development Specialist to join our team at the YMCA of Greater Tulsa.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging activities and crafts for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years, aligning with our Play & Learn program goals.
- Foster a safe and welcoming environment, ensuring the well-being of children at all times.
- Interact with children, parents, and staff in a professional and respectful manner, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve program objectives and contribute to a positive work environment.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Minimum 6 months experience working with children in a similar age range
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current CPR/AED/First Aid/O2 Certification
Preferred Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (or other languages spoken by local communities)
