What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concessions Worker position at YMCA OF INDIANA COUNTY?
We are seeking Concession Workers during the Mack Park Pool season.
This person must prepare food items, operate the cash register, and maintain an appropriate concessions environment as defined by the PA Safe Serve requirements. Flexible schedule with various shifts.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and serve food.
- Make cash and credit card transactions.
- Treat everyone with respect and courtesy.
- Displays teamwork and initiative.
KNOWLEDGE – SKILLS - ABILITIES:
- PA Criminal Clearance, PA Child Abuse Clearance and FBI Clearance are required. FBI Clearance cost will be reimbursed after receipt.
- Previous food preparation experience is a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift
- Must be able to communicate verbally
- Must have visual capabilities to for close and distance sight, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Must have manual dexterity to operate a computer and cash register
- Must have ability to make transactions and handle money effectively
- Must be able to reach, bend and stoop occasionally
- Must be able to lift 35 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to work in an environment with summer weather conditions.
