About YMCA Family Camp Pinewood: Our camp is located at the southern tip of the Manistee National Forest, offering 200 acres of pine and oak forest, and 80% of the Lake Echo shoreline. We are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all campers and staff members. Our camp provides a range of activities and amenities, including a waterfront, hiking trails, and a variety of recreational equipment.
We are seeking Family Camp Program Facilitators who share our commitment to providing a high-quality camp experience for our campers. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for leading recreational activities, including arts and crafts, sports, large group games, music, social recreation, camping, and various hobbies. You will also assist with planning and organizing activities, and ensure the overall quality and safety of the camp experience.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also have the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities, and be flexible in their approach to meeting the needs of our campers and staff.
