What are the responsibilities and job description for the CHildcare Day Camp Director- Frisco West position at YMCA OF METROPOLITAN DALLAS?
The Day Camp Site Director oversees the day to day operation of the day camp including, staffing, supervision of day camp staff, program quality, policy and procedures, risk management, state licensing, parent concerns and complaints, daily program scheduling, assistance with participant account management and all other duties as requested by the Program Director. Will also be responsible for supply expense oversight and hub management as well as coordinating any grounds maintenance or upkeep. Will also help in the hiring of part time staff members to be Assistant site directors and counselors.
The imcumbant must have basic computer, good phone ettique, and interpersonal skills. Must qualify to be a licensed on site camp director under TDSHS minimum standards. Preferred enrolled in college w/ a preferred major in Education, Kineseology, child or human development or other related field. YMCA Day Camp Director Certification preferred. 21 years of age with 2 years of leadership responsibilities. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to adjust from sitting to standing with ease. Ability to lift and carry at least 30 lbs.
