In addition, this position will track outcomes, conduct required observations and maintain thorough records for programs. Working with the youth development team, this position will help to ensure accurate data reporting and procedural compliance on various grants and contracts. This position will be located out of the Plymouth or Farmington YMCA.

The Youth Development Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for the completion of various grant and contract reporting, submissions and various other compliance items to support program objectives. In addition, this position will track outcomes, conduct required observations and maintain thorough records for programs. Working with the youth development team, this position will help to ensure accurate data reporting and procedural compliance on various grants and contracts. This position will be located out of the Plymouth or Farmington YMCA.
Education/Experience/Training/Certifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong mathematical and analytical ability is necessary; excellent organization skills required.
- Must possess initiative and be reliable and resourceful, flexible, courteous, and a good team worker.
- Meets the requirements set forth by the state licensing agency. Documentation of licensing clearance prior to starting work, and CPR, First Aid, AED, and Child Safe certifications are required within 60 days.

- Assist with developing standard processes and documentation for tracking required information for various federal grants and contracts, including State of Michigan Childcare Licensing.
- Collect all participant data needed for compliance, goals and program improvement and input the data into the required systems. This may include travel to various program sites throughout the tri-county area.
- Regularly assesses project implementation to verify alignment with grant objectives and spending.
- Work with program site staff to ensure all required data points are collected as required and shared using the developed processes.
- Work with program leadership to ensure and corrective action plans received as a result of grant or contracts are completed by required deadlines. Support staff with the implementation of any plans and ensure compliance throughout the process.
- Ensure licensed program sites are continually in compliance with fingerprinting, accurate staffing plans and support files.
- Work with program leadership to ensure all staff trainings are input into the State licensing system and that all staff are meeting the annual training requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
