As the Government Grants Writer, you will lead our efforts to identify, secure, and manage government grants and contracts to further the mission of the YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles . Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring our programs are well-funded and compliant with all regulations. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to maximize our funding opportunities and manage contracts efficiently.
Responsibilities :
- Identify and pursue government grant opportunities that align with our mission
- Develop and submit grant proposals, ensuring all requirements are met
- Manage all aspects of government contracts, from negotiation to compliance
- Collaborate with program staff to develop budgets and project plans
- Monitor grant and contract performance, ensuring objectives are met
- Prepare reports and maintain documentation for audits and reviews
- Build and maintain relationships with government agencies and partners
