What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lifeguard position at YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee?
Training Offered:
- The YMCA provides training for candidates.
- Reduced rate to complete American Red Cross Lifeguarding course
Responsibilities:
- Conducting all swim classes in accordance with the YMCA of the USA’s Swimming Lesson Program in an enthusiastic and exciting way.
- Prepared to teach all levels of swimming, maximize swimmer participation every class period, complete and turn in all paperwork as required by supervisor.
- Communicate student progress to swimmers and/or parents throughout a session with the intention of building meaningful relationships with participants.
- Maintain a professional and responsible attitude and demeanor at all times, but will additionally demonstrate a genuine spirit of silliness that will provide participants with a sense of wonder and happiness by the end of every lesson.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
