What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pickleball Clinic Instructor position at YMCA of Northern Colorado?
Instruct and implement lesson plans for pickleball. Organize area in which safety and overall appearance works well with Pickleball. Organize groups of participants through different drills and activities, making sure the overall program runs smoothly, including starting and ending according to schedules made by the Director. Clinic coach must have significant knowledge of the sport and/or experience coaching or playing sports to advise participants and coaches. Be able to organize groups of people effectively as well as know how to break down a skill and explain it so that participants can understand and perform the skill. Instructor must communicate and work with a variety of people including participants, staff, and community
members.

- Must have a high-level knowledge and understanding of the rules for pickleball
- Assists in the preparation of programs as assigned by Program Director(s)

Must be able to effectively and efficiently communicate and teach skills and drills to participants of
all ages and abilities -
Communicates important information regarding the YMCA and youth sports to all participants and
parents -
Handle onsite issues and concerns in an appropriate manner and communicating relevant
information to the Program Director(s) - Represents the YMCA in a professional manner at all times
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Certifications: CPR, AED, & Basic First Aid certification.

Pickleball knowledge/experience. Maintains applicable sport certifications as necessary (through the
Y or other licensing agencies). - Must be at least 18 years of age.
