Overview
The YMCA is seeking Youth Sports Clinic Instructors for our Volleyball Scrimmage and Skills Program. This position is part time and the clinics are scheduled Thursday nights from 5:00 to 8:15PM.
Salary range: $15-$18/hour based on experience, availability and certifications. In addition, we offer a 10% differential for bilingual staff who test as fluent in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities
- Teach introductory through intermediate skills, rules of play and the Y Way to Play using your own and provided lesson plans
- Assist in officiating, including parent interaction
- Ensure clinics run smoothly and safely with all activities starting and ending on schedule
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Age 16 years or older
- Significant involvement and understanding of the sport
- CPR/First Aid/AED certification within 30 days
- Know how to break down a skill and explain it so that participants can understand and perform the skill
- Ability to organize and engage groups of children
- Ability to communicate and work with a variety of people including kids, staff, other host staff, and community members
