Overview
Under the direction of the Child Care and ECE Director, the Child Care Center Manager is responsible for the overall daily operation of the full-day childcare program at the Child Care Center when the Director is not available. The Child Care Center Manager holds the primary responsibility for the after-school program and summer day camp operating out of the childcare center and assists the Director with the education, health, welfare, and safety for all children in the center year-round.

Qualifications
The Child Care Manager MUST meet one of the criteria listed below:
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 1 year of experience with children.
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 16 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 2 years of experience with children.
- An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 3 years of experience with children.
- An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 16 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 4 years of experience with children
- Current CDA or ability to get a CDA
- NAC certification or ability to get a NAC certification
