The YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties is seeking an Exercise Instructor specializing in Low Impact to join our team!

As a Low Impact Exercise Instructor, you will be expected to deliver a full-body class focused on improving strength, balance, and cardiovascular fitness without placing excessive strain on joints. Knowledge of common injuries and contraindicated exercises for older adults is preferred.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct fun, safe and educational classes
- Design classes to improve one or more of the four components of fitness; flexibility, strength, muscular endurance, and cardio-respiratory conditioning
- Demonstrate techniques with different intensity levels.
- Build relationships with members
- Maintain equipment organization
- Assist in compiling program statistics

Wage : $18.67 to $20.67 per hour, depending on qualifications
Hours : Part-Time, Up to 25 hours per week - Looking for a 11 : 45am Instructor
Location : Lakewood Family YMCA, Lakewood, WA
