MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in social work, Counseling or Psychology.
- At least 1 year post graduate school, working with youth and their families
- Knowledge of legal and ethical standards of practice, including child abuse reporting
- At least 2-3 years of experience providing services to individuals and families in
- Active registration or licensure with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural,
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to maintain accurate
- Training and experience in trauma-informed care, conflict resolution, and the ability
- YMCA-approved CPR and First Aid Certification (to be completed within 30 days of

Position Description
Under the supervision of the Clinical Director of Mental Health Services, the Family Resource
Center Clinician (FRC Clinician) is responsible for performing therapy in a manner that is
consistent with the legal and ethical standards set by the professional field and the YMCA of
San Francisco’s mission. The FRC Clinician supports the ongoing development and
implementation of the Family Resource Center, ensuring equitable access to services within
the community. The FRC Clinician is responsible for providing culturally responsive and
trauma-informed mental health support to individuals and families, with a focus on
strengthening resilience and addressing challenges and a commitment to fostering an
inclusive and respectful environment for all individuals. This role requires strong
interpersonal skills to build trust and collaborate effectively with families and community
partners.

Salary Range $32.50 - $39.00 Per Hour
