Job description
The YMCA is starting to hire Summer Camp Counselors! This is a seasonal position that will work from June 6th through August 28th. Our Summer Camp program takes place of our SACC program during schools out months.
Day Camp counselors work with kids ages 5-12 during the summer months. Counselors will positively model and reinforce Y core values of honesty, caring, respect and responsibility; lead activities and ensure safety of children. This is a full time/part time seasonal position, generally taking place between 6:30 AM-6:00 PM at our Chippewa Falls location.

General Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate large and small motor skills activities.
- Encourage children’s growth in character development through our 4 core values.
- Act as a role model and teacher with quality skills in listening, cooperation, problem solving and self-control.
- Build strong relationships with staff, children, and families.
- Be conscientious about safety measures
