Become a Swim Instructor at the YMCA!
Are you passionate about swimming and helping others? Want to make a difference in your community while having fun and gaining valuable experience? The YMCA is looking for friendly, enthusiastic, and responsible Swim Instructors to join our team! Whether you’re an experienced swimmer or want to share your skills with others, we want YOU!
What You’ll Do:
- Teach swim lessons to kids and adults of all skill levels
- Create a safe, fun, and positive learning environment for swimmers
- Motivate students and build their confidence in the water
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during lessons
- Provide excellent customer service to YMCA members and their families
What We’re Looking For:
- Must be 16 years old
- Strong swimming skills and a passion for the water
- Previous swim experience or willingness to be trained (we’ll help you get certified if you don’t have it!)
- Ability to communicate clearly and motivate others
- Friendly, patient, and responsible attitude
- Must be reliable and show up on time
