This is a Temporary, Full-Time project from March through July 2025. This position has the ability to be in person or remote.


POSITION SUMMARY:

The Administrative Assistance Camper Review Form is responsible for effectively communicating and assisting nursing staff and Office Staff to collect missing information for camper forms. Specific duties include communicating with parents via email or phone call, as well as managing and organizing all documents received related to camper forms to ensure forms are complete. They are responsible for managing these functions in accordance with the stated mission, goals, and policies established by the administrative staff, governing committees, and Board of Directors of the YMCA.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Reviews camper health forms with a focus on determining if any sections are missing or incomplete
  • Follows up with parents if additional information is needed for complete documents
  • Upon completion of camper's health forms, digitally delivers to nursing staff for medical review
  • Creates health form charts for the Health Centers once the Health Form has passed medical review and deemed “complete”
  • Models relationship-building skills in all interactions and maintains regular, clear, and concise communication within area of responsibility.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Oral and written communication skills, and demonstrated ability to interact effectively with customers via telephone and email.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, and ability to accurately resolve issues in a fast paced, changing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Strong computer skills and a working knowledge of CRM database software systems.
  • Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
  • Multi-lingual desired but not required.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • This position has the opportunity to be remote.
