Job Description

Are you a dynamic, self-starter with a passion for building relationships and driving growth? Join the YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth as our Corporate Membership Sales Director and lead the charge in expanding our corporate membership portfolio while fostering partnerships within the local business community.

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate degree or higher preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years’ experience in outside sales, corporate client acquisition, or customer relationship management and/or significant sales training with certification.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM systems and standard office software to track and report on sales activities.

Essential Functions

  • Identify and Engage: Research and establish contact with potential corporate clients, identifying key decision-makers and developing tailored membership proposals.
  • Client Meetings and Presentations: Schedule and conduct professional sales presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value of YMCA corporate memberships.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain an active prospect pipeline, track leads, and consistently follow up to close deals.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and sustain long-term relationships with corporate clients to ensure membership retention and satisfaction.
  • Strategic Marketing Input: Recommend marketing strategies to target specific industries, regions, or demographics.
  • Industry Networking: Attend industry events, chamber meetings, and community gatherings to generate leads and establish meaningful business connections.
  • Reporting and Goal Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly revenue and membership targets, and submit detailed sales reports to management.
  • Professional Representation: The YMCA will be represented professionally, aligning with its mission and values, and promoting the organization’s positive image within the business community.

  • Motivated Self-Starter: Ability to work independently while reporting to team leaders, prioritize tasks, and achieve goals with minimal supervision.
  • Outstanding Communication: Exceptional oral and written communication skills for engaging with clients at all levels. Proactive in providing reports and updates to team leads and organizational leaders.
  • Relationship Focused: Skilled at building and maintaining positive, professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Goal-Oriented: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a self-driven, fast-paced, mission-driven environment with diverse stakeholders.
