We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the Canoe Master Support role. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing our canoe fleet, developing and leading program initiatives, and collaborating with staff to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the canoe shop and oversee all aspects of canoe maintenance and repair, ensuring that our fleet remains in top condition.
- Collaborate with Program Directors to develop and implement canoe programs for summer trail staff and campers, focusing on providing an exceptional experience for our guests.
- Develop and lead paddle building workshops as part of our Environmental Education initiatives and other programming efforts, promoting hands-on learning and community engagement.
- Support the Property Manager in maintaining facilities, including carpentry work, interior and exterior finishes, systems monitoring, janitorial responsibilities, and supervising work crews.
- Ensure that the canoe repair building remains safe and functional for our staff and visitors, adhering to all relevant safety regulations and standards.
