The West Side YMCA is seeking a Reservation and Sales Director . Under the supervision of the Director of Guest Rooms and Residence, the Reservation and Sales Director will provide leadership and direction to the successful operation of the Reservations department and support leadership to the Guest Rooms and Residence departments. The Reservations and Sales Director will manage and direct group sales, third-party reservations, invoicing, and billing for the Guest Rooms business. In addition, they will collaborate with the Director of Guest Rooms and Residence to assist as needed in administering the PMS (currently Infor HMS), training Guest Rooms staff, managing revenue, and developing sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage all Group Sales.
- Manage all third-party reservation agreements and associated reservations.
- Manage invoicing and billing for all Guest Rooms-related accounts.
- Serve as a PMS administrator (Infor HMS).
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Reservations and Sales office.
- Respond to reservation inquiries.
- Assist as needed with configuration and maintenance of PMS, CRS, and connected software.
- Work closely with other branch directors to ensure system-wide policies and procedures are in place.
- Train Guest Rooms and Residence staff as needed.
- Provide supporting leadership and assistance to the Front Desk as needed.
- Assist as needed with revenue management and sales strategies.
- Provide support as needed to the Inclusionary Housing / Residence Director and residents.
- Uphold all Association policies and demonstrate the YMCA’s core values of Respect, Responsibility, Caring, and Honesty. Support a positive image of the YMCA in the community and practice good public relations.
- Other duties and activities, as needed, to support the successful operation of the branch and the Guest Rooms and Residence departments.
