We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Facility Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills and a solid understanding of both low and high voltage systems. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to supervise a team effectively while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. Team Management and Leadership will be a must in this role, Managing a team of 4-6 Technicians
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of facility maintenance staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Maintain all facility systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
- Experience with Boilers, Water Treatment Systems and Boilers
- Food Manufacturing Floor Maintenance is a MUST
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, and inventory management.
- Conduct regular inspections of facility equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
- Manage projects related to facility upgrades or repairs, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Train and mentor staff on proper maintenance procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
- Perform troubleshooting using tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in facility operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within facilities management or maintenance.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems is essential.
- Mechanical knowledge with experience in maintaining various types of equipment.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for managing maintenance activities is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being able to lead effectively.
