Senior Procurement Officer
We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Officer to lead our purchasing activities and ensure high-quality, cost-efficient goods and services.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and be able to maintain positive supplier relationships, evaluate supply options, and approve purchases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full range of procurement processes in a cross-functional environment.
- Develop, implement, and manage contracts and service level agreements for various departments.
- Investigate and promote the use of progressive supply chain tools and technologies.
- Foster successful business relationships and ongoing process improvements with key suppliers.
- Identify opportunities for operational and procurement process improvement.
- Review non-contracted purchases to identify opportunities for standardization, contracting, and cost reduction.
- Provide regular reporting to Director, Budget Holders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Minimum of five years' experience in procurement within large international companies.
- Knowledge of leading practices in procurement and strategic sourcing.
- Excellent knowledge of end-to-end supply management processes.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder relationship management skills.
- Able to manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient computer skills with advanced skills on MS Office applications.
