Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Problem Identification:
Identify recurring issues in the manufacturing process, particularly line stoppages and defective parts.
Conduct thorough root cause analysis to address underlying problems rather than symptomatic solutions.
Root Cause Analysis:
Lead root cause analysis efforts at the manufacturing plants for various high-speed manufacturing and assembly lines.
Develop and propose solutions to address systemic issues causing line stoppages and defects.
Long-Term Solution Focus:
Emphasize the importance of long-term solutions over quick fixes.
Implement sustainable improvements to manufacturing processes to reduce waste and enhance efficiency.
Technical Expertise:
Utilize a strong engineering background to effectively analyze and solve technical problems.
Apply Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements and waste reduction.
Decision-Making:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.
Proven experience in root cause analysis and implementing long-term solutions in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Strong communication and project management skills
