What Would You Be Responsible For
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and provide insights to leadership
- Support budget preparation and financial forecasting by analyzing revenue and expense trends
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions
- Reconcile inventory accounts, accruals, liabilities, and contingent liabilities
- Ensure the integrity of financial data by performing account reconciliations and variance analysis
- Oversee and maintain an effective cash management system, updating leadership on cash flow needs
- Assist with the purchasing and tracking of fixed assets, managing depreciation schedules
- Collaborate with the Finance team to evaluate and optimize financial controls
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies
- Partner with internal teams to improve financial processes and enhance operational efficiencies
- Provide support for internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate documentation
- Work closely with Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) teams to manage outstanding receivables, including contracts in transit, factory receivables, and collections
- Approve adjustments to inventory accounts and oversee financial reconciliations
- Partner with the Controller, CFO, and other key stakeholders to provide financial insights and support business strategy
- Effectively communicate financial policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization
- Support cross-functional teams by providing financial data and analysis for strategic decision-making
- Assist with other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting (automotive industry experience preferred)
- Experience managing multiple projects and financial functions simultaneously
