Yoh has a contract opportunity for a Business Process Analyst role with our client located in Westwood, MA.
• 3 months (with the possibility of full-time hire)
• Pay Rate: $49 - $68/hr
• Hybrid
Overview:
The Business Process Analyst will play a critical role in documenting and updating business processes as part of the AMI Project initiatives. This individual will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to analyze AMI Project produced document and flows. These flows detail the expected business processes these flows require actual documentation. Confirmation of the process flows will be required with the project stakeholders. This will also require the workup of KPI (Key Performance Indicators) related to the new processes with the stakeholders. The primary focus is to ensure all required processes are documented by business unit and KPIs are identified.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with business units to understand and document those existing processes they have a change due to the AMI Project.
• Develop and maintain business process documentation, including step-by-step procedures, and system interactions
• Ensure all process documentation aligns with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements in partnership with the business.
• Provide recommendations for optimizing processes to enhance efficiency and user experience.
• Use process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, ARIS) to create clear and structured process documents and KPIs.
• Collaborate with business units to create KPIs related to net new or adjustments to existing processes
• Assist the business units in identifying impacts to existing KPIs.
• Work closely with business partners, project managers, and AMI Program Team to ensure alignment on process changes.
• Translate complex process changes into clear documentation for end users and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
• 3 years of experience in business process documentation, change management, or business analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Organizational Development, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Ability to analyze and document Level 3 processes with precision and clarity
• Proficiency in process documentation tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, ARIS) and collaboration platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence).
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical processes into user-friendly documentation.
• Strong Relationship building skills
• Certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci, CCMP) or Business Process Modeling (BPM).
• Strong experience with process mapping methodologies (e.g., BPMN, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar frameworks).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and iterative process improvement.
• Attention to Detail – Ensures accuracy and consistency in process documentation.
• Collaboration – Works effectively with business teams and change management professionals.
• Analytical Thinking – Identifies process gaps and recommends solutions.
• Adaptability – Thrives in a fast-paced environment with evolving business needs.
• Communication – Translates complex processes into clear, actionable documentation.
