IT Business Systems Analyst needed for a 12-month Contract opportunity with Yoh’s client located in St. Charles, Missouri (Hybrid – 3 days in office, and 2 days remote). Client will Not accept H1’s or sponsor.

What You Need to Bring to the Table / Overview : The IT Business Systems Analyst will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT development teams to ensure technology solutions align with business needs. This role requires a moderate level of supervision and involves requirements gathering, process improvement recommendations, and business-IT alignment.

Requirements Gathering & Documentation – Experience in eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.

IT Security & Compliance Awareness – Understanding of digital security risks and compliance best practices.

Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering : JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart
Project Management & Agile Tools : Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Microsoft Project, Trello
IT Systems & Applications : ERP, CRM, CMS, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce
Data & Reporting : SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Excel (Advanced)
Process Mapping & Documentation : BPMN, UML, Workflow Automation

What You’ll Be Doing :

Business Requirements Gathering & Analysis

Identify and analyze business needs and process gaps requiring IT-based solutions.

Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather functional and technical requirements.

Define scope, objectives, and application system relationships (end-users, processes, data, applications, and devices).

IT Liaison & Solution Recommendations

Act as a bridge between IT teams and business users to translate business requirements into IT specifications.

Provide recommendations for technology enhancements or alternative uses of existing solutions.

Ensure business requirements are clearly defined, documented, and aligned with IT strategies.

Documentation & Process Mapping

Maintain comprehensive business process documentation and system workflows.

Work with IT teams to document application requirements, user stories, and system dependencies .

Research and analyze IT-business integration needs and system constraints .

Development & Implementation Support

Collaborate with development teams to ensure successful execution of IT projects .

Assist in testing, validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT) .

Support implementation efforts by ensuring end-users are trained and equipped with proper documentation .

Risk Mitigation & IT Security Compliance

Work with Digital Technologies (DT) teams to ensure data security and risk mitigation.

Implement IT security measures and compliance standards in collaboration with IT security teams.
