Fraud Operations Specialist
Role Overview:
This position involves conducting in-depth analysis and investigations to identify and manage fraudulent activities. Responsibilities include customer authentication, fraud investigations, and ensuring compliance with fraud policies across all business channels. The role requires analyzing data to confirm or clear fraud, validating customer ID authentication, and identifying violations of fraud policies that could impact the organization. Additionally, the role involves evaluating fraud trends related to fraudulent orders and identity theft, performing research, and drawing conclusions. The position also includes notifying appropriate internal staff for customer verification or legal action, participating in the establishment and implementation of policies and procedures to deter fraudulent usage, and responding to fraud escalations. The role aims to establish and improve fraud-related processes and identify issues and recommend solutions on team projects.
Hours of Operation:
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM CST
- Saturday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Review, identify, and deter fraudulent activity.
- Take inbound calls and referrals from victims of fraudulent activities.
- Assess available information using multiple internal and external tools to identify the situation and provide guidance to resolve issues.
- Excellent conversational skills in English.
- Experience navigating multiple computer screens and programs while interacting with customers on the phone.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- One year of experience operating a computer in a Windows-based environment.
- One year of experience in fraud, customer service, or a call center environment.
- Handling phone calls.
- Using Slack to communicate with the team.
- Reviewing documents to validate identity.
Estimated Min Rate: $14.00
Estimated Max Rate: $20.00
