Yoh Scientific is actively recruiting for a Bench Scientist to work a contract assignment in Upper Providence, PA (Collegeville, PA).
Great opportunity for a Bench Scientist with molecular / cell biology experience to continue growing their research career by maintaining iPSC cell culture, performing differentiation and performing QC characterization to support early research. Bench work will be approximately 80% of duties, with the other 20% being data analysis, ELN reporting, group / team meetings, etc.
Duration :
6 months with possibility of extension or going perm (not a guarantee)
Work Schedule :
Full-time, mainly Monday - Friday. (May need to work a few hours on some weekends, due to job duties.)
Pay Rate Range : $32-$40 / hour, based on experience
Responsibilities :
- Differentiate and characterize cellular models derived from human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), and to perform genetic perturbations (KD, KO, KI, overexpression) in iPSC-derived cells for drug discovery applications.
- Maintain iPSC cell culture, perform differentiate and QC characterization in supporting assay development and translational studies.
- Perform functional QC assays such as RTPCR, PCR, cellular imaging - cell staining, FACS analysis.
