Scope :
- Negotiate / collaborate cross functionally with multiple departments - Industrial design, product design / integrity, EE, manufacturing, SW and Tech groups to refine / execute the vision for the product.
- Develop tech knowledge in areas outside your areas of expertise to understand other teams' design constraints & craft creative solutions to tech problems.
- Collaborate with outside vendors & internal manufacturing experts in order to optimize designs for function, aesthetic & manufacturability.
- Utilize 2D & 3D CAD in order to communicate design intent / inspection requirements.
- Ensure fit / form / function throughout the life of the product through stress / tolerance analysis, DFMEA, prototyping, testing, & failure analysis.
