Assistant Spa Manager – Yomassage Spa Location: Portland, OR (Sellwood) Pay: $25/hour | Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and some holidays. Approx. 30 hours per week.

• Previous experience in a spa, salon, or wellness environment is a plus, but not required—we’ll train the right person!

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Experience & Sales:
• Greet and check in clients, ensuring a seamless, welcoming experience
• Promote and sell spa services, memberships, and retail products
• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage bookings
• Spa Operations & Administration:
• Oversee daily front desk operations, including processing payments and maintaining records
• Manage scheduling and coordinate appointments for guests and staff
• Track and manage inventory, ensuring retail and back-of-house supplies are well-stocked
• Maintain spa cleanliness and ensure a relaxing environment for guests
• Team & Leadership:
• Work collaboratively with the Spa Ownership to implement spa initiatives
• Assist in training and supporting team members to ensure smooth operations
• Help address guest concerns and resolve issues with professionalism

Qualifications:

• Experience in Customer service (spa or wellness industry preferred)
• Strong sales mindset with ability to effectively communicate and sell our services
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
• Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods
