*Overview* We are seeking a skilled Optometrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional eye care services and improving the vision health of our patients. *Responsibilities* - Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and eye health - Diagnose and treat visual conditions such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism - Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids as needed - Detect and manage eye diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, and diabetic retinopathy - Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries - Educate patients on proper eye care practices and answer any questions they may have *Requirements* - Strong knowledge of optical principles and practices - Understanding of ocular anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology - Familiarity with ophthalmology procedures and treatments - Proficiency in patient care and communication - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical coding systems - Ability to engage in succession planning for patient care continuity
